December is upon us, and the festive season is in full swing! At Charlie P's, we've got everything you need to make the most of the holiday season. Here’s what’s coming up this month, plus a look back at the highlights from November.

🍺 Brew of the Month
Ottakringer Zwickl Bock
November’s standout brew was the amber-colored Zwickl Bock! With hints of straw, honey, and quince, along with a perfectly balanced bitter finish, it quickly became a customer favorite.
🍔 Burger of the Month:
The Mafioso Burger
Our November special—marinara sauce, salami, mozzarella, tomato, rucola, parmesan, and basil pesto—was a huge hit. It’s safe to say this burger packed some serious Italian flavour!
📆 November Highlights:
SK Rapid Wien v Shamrock Rovers ☘️
On Thursday, 28th November, Shamrock Rovers fans packed Charlie P’s, bringing unmatched energy and passion before and after their big game against Rapid Vienna. The pub was alive with songs, chants, and an incredible atmosphere that left everyone buzzing.
Full credit to Rapid Vienna, the Allianz Stadion, located in the Hütteldorf neighborhood of Vienna and home to SK Rapid Wien, looked spectacular. Over 20,000 Rapid fans created an electric atmosphere that set the stage for an unforgettable match.
Shamrock Rovers faced a tough challenge. With no competitive game for three weeks, they were up against a Rapid team in full swing and operating with a significantly larger budget.
The difference was clear in the opening period, and by halftime, it looked like a straightforward win for Rapid might be on the cards. But what a second-half performance from Shamrock Rovers!
After Johnny Kenny’s equalizer in the 55th minute, the team came alive, playing with the spirit and determination they show week in, week out in the League of Ireland.
The game ended in a 1-1 draw—a result that made Shamrock Rovers, Ireland, and the League of Ireland proud. Thursday, 28th November, was truly a night to remember.

Budvar Dark Lager
A Czech beer crafted by Budweiser Budvar Brewery in České Budějovice. This dark lager blends roasted Munich, caramel, and roasted malts, imparting flavors reminiscent of black coffee and dark chocolate.
Despite its rich taste, it maintains the refreshing quality typical of pale lagers. Its balanced profile appeals to both traditional lager enthusiasts and those seeking a fuller flavor experience.
With an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 4.7%, Budvar Dark Lager has earned multiple accolades, including 'Best Dark Lager in the World.
🍔 Burger of the Month:
CPs Festive Burger
Ground turkey with a hint of sage, topped with Cranberry sauce, melted brie cheese, caramelized onions and a touch of gravy and served in Charlie P's handmade Brioche bun.
