Hope everyone had a great summer. We’ve been busy at Charlie P’s over the summer - from the Ottakringer Bierfest to a new food menu, some new drinks behind the bar, brand-new TVs around the pub and an upgraded sound system. Our own Cúla Búla has a new look too.
With the new semester underway, the Cellar Bar is back in full swing. Medical Tuesday, Rock ’n’ Roll Karaoke, Sunday Pub Quiz and our regular DJs are all back, with Monday Night Comedy returning in October too.
Here’s a quick look at what’s new and what’s coming up at Charlie P’s.
🎉 New Charlie P's Party Season!
Summer break Done! We’re ready to go again for a new party season at Charlie P’s, with our Cellar Bar downstairs now getting back into full swing for the new semester.
Medical Tuesday is back, Rock 'n' Roll Karaoke is back, our regular Friday and Saturday DJs are back, the Sunday Pub Quiz is up and running again, and Monday Night Comedy returns in October.

Charlie P’s Pub Quiz Giveaway
We’ve got something extra lined up for Sunday 27th September.

Ottakringer Seidl-Wandertage
From October 1 to 31, 2026, the Ottakringer Seidl-Wandertage returns with Charlie P's representing 1090 Vienna.
Seidl-Wandertage at Charlie P’s
The idea is simple - explore the city, discover participating pubs and enjoy a freshly poured Ottakringer Seidl along the way.
The campaign takes place across all 23 districts, with 23 participating pubs and 23 beers to discover.
Charlie P’s is representing the 9th district, so make us one of your stops.
To take part, purchase a Seidl-Wandertage ticket from Ottakringer and you’ll receive the Seidl-Wandertage package.
You can then choose participating venues by district and exchange your beer voucher for a freshly tapped Ottakringer Seidl.
At Charlie P’s, simply show your valid Seidl-Wandertage voucher, have your collection pass stamped and enjoy your Seidl.
Each voucher can be redeemed once per person and venue during the campaign period.
The Ottakringer beers available on tap at Charlie P’s include:

A Fresh Look for Cúla Búla
Cúla Búla Pale Ale has a new look!
Our very own Pale Ale has a fresh new label, marking our partnership with Holy Hops Brewing Co.
Brewed in collaboration with Wolfgang and the team at Holy Hops, Cúla Búla is a 5.3% Pale Ale, with citrus and tropical hop notes and a smooth malt body.
The new label brings a little bit of Dublin to Vienna, with the Cúla Búla logo and Ogham script giving a nod to Ronan’s Irish roots.

Brewed with Mosaic and Ekuanot hops
Brewed with Mosaic and Ekuanot hops, Cúla Búla comes in at 5.3% ABV. Expect a smooth, rounded and hoppy Pale Ale with plenty of character while remaining balanced and easy to enjoy.

New alcohol-free option
Nicobar IPA Alkoholfrei
A full-flavoured alcohol-free IPA with a deep amber colour, fruity aromas, caramel malt notes and a balanced bitter finish.
Brewed with Cascade, Simcoe, Citra, Mosaic and Azacca hops, it’s got plenty of IPA character without the alcohol.

Legacy Medium Cider
An easy-drinking Irish craft cider made with Dabinette, Michellin, Elstar and Bramley apples, with a sweet red-apple taste and plenty of fruit character.
500ml | 5% ABV
Dark, malty and perfectly balanced
Wimitz Lemisch
A dark, bottom-fermented organic beer with a delicate natural haze. Mahogany in colour with reddish highlights, it has a smooth malty character, subtle caramel notes, a hint of roasted flavour and a well-balanced bitterness.
Named “Lemisch” in tribute to the Lemisch family, whose support helped make the Wimitzbräu project possible
New Food Menu:
Ali and the Kitchen Team Have Been Busy Again :)
There are a few new additions to the food menu.
Shepherd’s Pie is now on the menu - slow-cooked Irish lamb with vegetables and rich gravy, topped with creamy mashed potato and melted Irish cheddar.
We’ve also added Bangers & Mash - grilled Irish sausages with creamy mashed potato, caramelised onion gravy and fried onions.
And for dessert, there’s now Apple Crumble with bourbon vanilla ice cream and Baileys Chocolate Mousse.
Burger fans are well covered too.
The Krispy Korean comes with honey-orange glazed crispy chicken, sriracha mayo and kimchi.
The Irish All Star brings together Irish beef, smoked Irish cheddar, Irish bacon and Ballymaloe relish.
We’ve also got Bang Bang Broccoli with vegan chilli mayo, Wicked Wings, Charlie P’s Fish ‘n’ Chips, Cajun Fries, plus a selection of homemade dips and sauces
And a couple of new desserts too - Apple Crumble with bourbon vanilla ice cream and Baileys Chocolate Mousse.
Ottakringer Bierfest 2026 Recap
Charlie P's first appearance at this summers Ottakringer Bierfest was a huge hit and kept us busy throughout the festival.
Our burgers, Fish & Chips were flying out throughout the summer, and we got great feedback from the festivals guests who stopped by.
A big thank you to the Charlie P’s team for all the work they put in over the summer and for keeping everything running smoothly.
